5th July 2017

Hmm, I'm back, blogging again. I've graduated from my MSc course since. Been about half a year since I came back from UK after my graduation.
Still failed to find a job, got an interview from a bioscience company a month ago, didn't get any feedback since then, guess I screwed up the interview. Funny thing, I applied for the post of molecular biology technician, but the HR persuaded me to go for technical support instead, dealing with customers from all over Asia Pacific region, because I do not have relevant working experience (really?!?!?!?). Customer service is not what I want actually, I want to have hands on experience in the lab, but guess that's not going to happen, even my interviewer said I'm over qualified for those kind of lab positions, they don't need a master's degree holder for that, a diploma holder is good enough (oh well, how am I going to get relevant working experience like that).
Looked around China using a website my Chinese friend introduced to me, lots of biosciences company offering molecular biology technician, looks hopeful, but I think I'm pretty much eliminated from consideration, after hearing what my interviewer said previously. Guess I shouldn't think about working in the lab anymore, I'm over qualified for technician, and under qualified for researcher position, and PhD is going to take 4 years to study, too f***ing long. Yeah, goodbye, my dream of working as a researcher.
Looked around Malaysia using jobstreets, pitiful results, less than 5 relevant results came out. Looked at the number of applicants: a few thousands. Are you f***ing kidding me, I even saw some people with PhD qualification applied for the job, I don't know how am I going to even get shortlisted for interview, much less getting employed.
GG, time to face the consequences of studying what I like instead of what gives the most job opportunities. But then, even if I decided to take finance or accounting back then, I doubt I'd be able to graduate, f*** me.
Enough rant for today, guess I should start looking around Singapore or Hong Kong, keep my fingers crossed, hope for the best.
